A comforting and effortless slow cooker lasagna that melds rich flavors and layers of cheese, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Ground beef (or sausage)
  • Italian seasoning
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef (or sausage) in a pan with chopped onions and garlic. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Add marinara sauce to the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Layer broken lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  4. Spoon dollops of ricotta cheese and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the noodles.
  5. Layer the browned meat mixture next.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  7. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the final layer.
  8. Cover and cook on low for about 240-360 minutes until noodles are tender and cheese is melted.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Mix ricotta with Italian seasoning for added flavor. For a crispy top, uncover for the last 30 minutes.
