  • 3 packs pasture-raised chicken drumsticks (about 1315 drumsticks)
  • 34 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 420 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Pat all of the drumsticks dry with a paper towel, ensuring you remove excess moisture.
  3. Place the drumsticks in a large bowl, making sure the skin covers each drumstick completely.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until fully coated.
  5. Sprinkle in the sea salt, garlic powder, chili powder, oregano, paprika, and ground pepper. Mix well to ensure an even coating of spices.
  6. Prepare a baking sheet and rack by spraying them with oil.
  7. Arrange each drumstick on the rack and bake for 35 minutes.
  8. After 35 minutes, remove the drumsticks and flip them over.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until golden and crispy. Enjoy!

Notes

Allow the chicken to marinate in the olive oil and spices for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor. Rotate the baking tray halfway through cooking for even browning.
