A delightful appetizer of prosciutto wrapped around creamy mozzarella and fresh basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 10 slices of prosciutto, halved lengthwise
  • 20 mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • 20 fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • Toothpicks or mini skewers

Instructions

  1. Lay the prosciutto strips on a clean surface.
  2. Layer each slice with a fresh basil leaf and a mozzarella ball at one end.
  3. Roll tightly into snug little wraps.
  4. Skewer with a toothpick diagonally for presentation and to hold the wrap together.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the wrapped bites just before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider experimenting with different types of balsamic glaze or adding a slice of pepper inside each wrap.
