A simple and flavorful one-pan chicken dish simmered in balsamic sauce, perfect for any occasion.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Sear on both sides until golden brown.
  4. Pour balsamic vinegar over the chicken and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add cherry tomatoes around the chicken.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and return to the oven until cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
