Ingredients
Scale
2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chicken broth
8 ounces egg noodles
½ cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and sauté until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.
Once the chicken is cooked, add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute, allowing the garlic to become fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Add the egg noodles to the skillet, stirring them into the broth. Cook according to the package instructions, usually about 7-10 minutes, until the noodles are al dente.
Once the noodles are cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the sauce becomes creamy and coats the chicken and noodles well.
Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes or fresh thyme. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
