  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  2. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, typically around 7-9 minutes, until they are tender.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme. Leftover chicken can be shredded for salads or soups.
