  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced, button or cremini)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Add olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Combine cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms, heavy cream, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve.
