Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 chicken wings
  • 1 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1 cup red onions (chopped)
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 inch ginger root (skin removed)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 23 habanero peppers (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except for the chicken wings, in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend everything until smooth, creating a thick marinade.
  3. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the blended marinade over them.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours, or overnight for deeper flavor.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F and arrange the marinated wings on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 1 hour, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy the flavors.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of liquid smoke to your marinade. Adjust the number of habanero peppers based on your spice tolerance.
