Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 chicken wings
  • 1 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1 cup red onions (chopped)
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1-inch ginger root (skin removed)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 23 habanero peppers (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor, leaving out the chicken wings. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the blended marinade over the wings in a large bowl, ensuring each wing is well-coated.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 120 to 240 minutes to allow flavors to penetrate.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange the marinated chicken wings on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes until golden-brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh herbs and spices for the best flavor. Broil wings for extra crispiness after baking.
