  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  3. Incorporate the chicken, orzo, and chicken broth into the pot.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cover.
  5. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the orzo becomes tender.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For an extra creamy texture, add additional heavy cream at the end. You can substitute asparagus with spinach or peas for variety.
