A delicious fusion of grilled cheese and burrito, featuring seasoned ground beef, warm melted cheeses, and chipotle sauce, all wrapped in a flour tortilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water; simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  4. On one tortilla, layer white rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and shredded cheeses.
  5. Grill the burrito in a skillet with butter or oil, sprinkling cheese in the pan first for a crispy crust. Cook seam-side down for 3–4 minutes, then flip and repeat.
  6. Serve immediately, cut in half to reveal the gooey interior.

Notes

Use a combination of cheddar and mozzarella for the best flavor. Consider adding jalapeños or olives for extra kick. Serve with fresh salsa or guacamole for dipping.
