This easy orange chicken recipe combines frozen popcorn chicken with a sweet and tangy sauce made from orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce, served over rice.

  • 1 (24 oz) bag frozen popcorn chicken
  • 1 (17 oz) jar orange marmalade
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • Cooked white or brown rice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the popcorn chicken and rice according to the package instructions.
  2. Combine the orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce in a medium-sized saucepan; warm on medium-low heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Gently combine the cooked popcorn chicken with the hot orange sauce in a large bowl.
  4. Serve the orange chicken over a bed of rice, drizzling any extra sauce on top.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add sriracha or red pepper flakes to the sauce. Consider garnishing with sliced green onions or sesame seeds.
