  • 28 oz frozen butter beans
  • 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasonings
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • Cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Chop the bacon, onion, and green bell pepper.
  2. Add the frozen okra and butter beans to the crockpot as the first layer.
  3. Pour the vegetable broth over the layers.
