  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Coat each chicken breast with olive oil, rubbing well to ensure even coverage.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each chicken breast, securing the edges with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Place the wrapped chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Remove the dish from the oven and brush each piece with barbecue sauce.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top of the chicken.
  9. Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
