  • 1 cup butterscotch frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the buttermilk and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in another bowl.
