A creamy twist on traditional pizza featuring a rich alfredo sauce, melty mozzarella, and a homemade crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 2 tablespoons dry milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 cups alfredo sauce (divided)
  • 4 cups grated mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1 ounce cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, yeast, dry milk, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Add the melted butter and warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough starts to form.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the risen dough into your desired pizza shape on a floured surface.
  7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a greased pizza stone or baking sheet.
  8. Pre-bake the crust for 5-7 minutes, until it’s lightly golden.
  9. Remove crust from the oven and layer with alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider making your own alfredo sauce. Ensure the dough is soft during kneading but not sticky. Let cheese come to room temperature before using for even melting.
