A simple and flavorful recipe for air fryer rotisserie chicken that delivers restaurant-quality results with minimal effort.

  • 1 whole chicken (34 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, getting under the skin for maximum flavor.
  5. Squeeze lemon halves over the chicken and place them inside the cavity.
  6. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down.
  7. Cook for 30 minutes, then gently flip the chicken so it’s breast side up.
  8. Cook for an additional 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
