Ingredients
Scale
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
½ cup grated parmesan cheese (reserve 1 tablespoon)
1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Pinch of salt
Black pepper (to taste)
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions
Trim any unwanted fat from the chicken breasts and pat them dry with a kitchen paper towel.
Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 3-5 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix the ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Reserve a teaspoon of this mix for later.
Brush the smooth side of each chicken breast with mayonnaise. Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mix over the top, then layer with grated parmesan cheese, patting it in gently.
Place the seasoned side down in the air fryer basket and repeat the brushing and seasoning process on the other side.
Cook in the air fryer at 365°F (185°C) for 8-9 minutes.
Flip the chicken and sprinkle the reserved seasoning mix and parmesan cheese on top.
Air fry for another 7-8 minutes at 375°F (190°C) or until the chicken is fully cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (73°C).
Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Letting the chicken rest allows the juices to settle, ensuring each piece is moist and tender.
