Delicious and juicy turkey burgers that are easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Blend gently to avoid overmixing.
  2. Add the egg and breadcrumbs, mixing until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into four patties, each about 1/2 inch thick, creating a slight depression in the center.
  4. Place the patties on a parchment-lined plate and freeze for 20 minutes.
  5. Cook the patties using your preferred method: grill on medium-high heat for a few minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 160°F, pan-fry in canola oil for 4-5 minutes on each side, or bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes with a final sear in a hot pan for two minutes per side.
  6. Allow the patties to rest for a few minutes before serving.
