Juicy turkey burgers that bring a healthy yet flavorful option to your dinner table, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey with garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix gently until seamlessly combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Shape the turkey mixture into 4 patties, each approximately ½ inch thick. Use your thumb to create a slight depression in the center of each patty.
  3. Place the patties on a plate lined with parchment and freeze for 20 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high and grease the grates, or heat oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the patties for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach 160°F.
  6. Serve the turkey burgers on hamburger buns with your favorite condiments and toppings.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with seasonings and toppings to customize your turkey burgers to your liking. Rest the patties after cooking to allow juices to redistribute.
