Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
1 cup shredded jack cheese
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
Add minced garlic and paprika to the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and low-sodium chicken broth, simmering gently while scraping up the brown bits from the skillet.
Top each chicken breast with shredded jack cheese, ensuring an even layer, then transfer the dish to the oven.
Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to enhance flavor.
Notes
For a spicier version, add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. Use fresh garlic for a stronger flavor.
