A vibrant and flavorful stir-fried chicken and broccoli dish that brings the essence of a Chinese restaurant to your kitchen.

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced ginger and garlic, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring to coat the chicken and broccoli evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Cut the chicken against the grain for tender slices. For softer broccoli, blanch it in boiling water for a minute before adding it to the skillet.
