Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

1. Attach an Anova Precision Cooker to a vessel of water and set the temperature to 145°F (63°C).

2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place them in a freezer-style zipper lock bag.

3. Add the oil to the bag, seal it, and use the water displacement method to remove air.

4. Place the bag in the preheated water bath and cook the chicken for 2 hours.

5. Remove from the bag and pat the chicken dry with paper towels.

6. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

7. Brush the chicken with barbecue sauce and grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

8. Remove from the grill, brush with more sauce, and serve immediately.

Notes

Store cooked chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat gently or eat cold in wraps or salads.
