Instructions

  1. Step 1 Adjust your Precision Cooker to reach a temperature of 145ºF / 62.8ºC.
  2. Step 2 Place the beef bacon in vacuum-sealed or zipper-lock pouches.
  3. Step 3 Let the beef bacon cook for a minimum of one night and a maximum of eight days. Once cooked, it can be seared right away, kept in the fridge for up to seven days, or frozen for several months. If chilled, proceed straight to Step 4. If frozen, thaw it overnight in the refrigerator or immerse in a 145°F / 62.8ºC water bath for 20 minutes before moving on.

  5. Step 0 Divide the bacon into separate slices.
  6. Step 1 Heat a skillet or griddle on medium-high for five minutes, then place the bacon strips onto it.
  7. Step 2 Cook until the bacon becomes crispy on one side, approximately 2 minutes. Turn the bacon and cook the other side briefly, around 15 seconds.
  8. Step 3 Move the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb extra grease.
  9. Step 4 Serve without delay.
