A juicy and flavorful chicken burger with crispy bacon and melted cheese, perfect for BBQs and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 4 strips of crispy bacon
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • Spicy mayo (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 burger buns, buttery and toasted

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, ensuring they are compact yet not overworked.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties carefully.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place cheese slices on top of the patties to melt.
  6. Meanwhile, in another pan, cook the bacon until crispy.
  7. Assemble the burgers by spreading spicy mayo on the bottom bun, adding the chicken patty, bacon, and red onion slices.
  8. Top with the other half of the bun, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

Allow the chicken patties to sear properly for a perfect crust. Experiment with different seasonings for varied flavors.
