One Pan Teriyaki Chicken and Noodles

A flavorful one-pan meal combining tender chicken breasts and vibrant vegetables enveloped in rich teriyaki sauce, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • â…” cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 16 oz spaghetti (or any preferred noodles)
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Optional garnishes: green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Sauté the chicken pieces until browned on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add the shredded cabbage and carrots. Sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard, ground ginger, and garlic powder.
  5. Add the uncooked spaghetti, pour in 3 ½ cups of water, and cook uncovered for 15-18 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the noodles are tender, remove from heat and toss in sesame seeds.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and extra sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Let chicken marinate in soy sauce and brown sugar for 30 minutes for enhanced flavor. Adjust brown sugar for sweetness preference.
