A flavorful marinated chicken breast dish that combines tender chicken with a delicious marinade of olive oil, soy sauce, honey, and garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
  4. Preheat the grill, oven, or pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Cook the chicken on the grill or in the pan for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink inside.
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing, and serve hot.

Notes

For added kick, consider incorporating a pinch of red pepper flakes into the marinade. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F.
