A crispy and cheesy delight, this Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken transforms simple ingredients into a comforting weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a second dish, beat the eggs and mix with the milk.
  4. Place flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg mixture, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  8. In a bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with the mozzarella cheese and minced garlic.
  9. Top the chicken with the cheese mixture.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

Notes

Allow breaded chicken to rest before frying for better adherence. Use fresh chicken for the best flavor.
