Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a separate bowl.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, coating both sides.
  5. Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s coated completely.
  6. Coat the chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
  7. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider seasoning the flour lightly with salt and pepper. Allowing the coated chicken to rest before frying helps the breadcrumbs adhere better.
