Delicious lemon pepper wings that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the chicken wings thoroughly, patting them with paper towels to ensure maximum crispiness.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  3. Toss the wings in the marinade until fully coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Arrange the wings on a prepared baking sheet or in the air fryer basket. Bake for 40-45 minutes or air fry at 380°F until golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through cooking.
  5. Remove the wings from the heat and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider dusting the wings with baking powder before cooking. You can also add cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
