Delicious and easy oven-baked chicken drumsticks with a crispy, golden brown exterior and savory buttery parmesan coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 chicken legs
  • 1 stick salted butter (8 tablespoons)
  • 1.5 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • A dash of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter, then mix it with parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken leg in the butter mixture, ensuring full coverage.
  5. Arrange the coated drumsticks on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the drumsticks are golden brown.
  7. Optionally, transfer to a wire rack to cool before serving.

Notes

Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes after baking to maintain juiciness. For extra flavor, marinate chicken legs in the butter mixture for at least 30 minutes beforehand.
