A flavorful and simple jalapeño chicken dish featuring juicy thighs in a sweet and spicy sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb Chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 2 Jalapeño peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 2 cups Rice, cooked

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat and add the chicken pieces.
  3. Add sliced onions and jalapeño peppers, cooking until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  4. Mix soy sauce and honey in a bowl to create a sweet and salty sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over cooked rice.
