Sweet and savory honey garlic chicken bites that are easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch (optional)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium chicken stock
  • 12 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, Sriracha recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Toss the chicken breast cubes in a bowl with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Heat the olive oil and unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Once cooked, reduce the heat and add the minced garlic. Stir continuously for about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and hot sauce if desired. Stir everything to coat the chicken well.
  6. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and adhere to the chicken.

Notes

For added texture, sprinkle red chili pepper flakes on top before serving. Pair with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
