1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
1/4 cup sake
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger

Instructions
Soak the skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers.
Brush the skewers with the teriyaki sauce and grill for about 5 minutes on each side, basting with more sauce until cooked through.
Garnish with green onions and serve with extra teriyaki sauce.
