  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until combined.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl or seal the bag, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or set the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Grill or bake the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken turns a beautiful golden brown.
  5. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces or fresh veggies.

Notes

For a crispy exterior, consider broiling the chicken for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking. Experiment with different herbs or spices for a unique twist.
