Master the art of making perfect Fearless Sous Vide Poached Eggs with our step-by-step guide. Learn the secrets to achieving restaurant-quality eggs at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs (6 eggs)

Instructions

  1. Attach the sous vide device to a large, deep pot. Pour in warm water until the pot is filled. Activate the device and adjust the temperature to precisely 153°F, ensuring it is neither 155°F nor 150°F.
  2. Carefully place the eggs into the water. We suggest using a spoon for each egg to prevent any cracking while lowering them in. Let them cook for 25 minutes.
  3. Move the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool them down. Afterward, store them in a sealed container in the refrigerator; they can be kept for up to a week.
  4. When you wish to enjoy one warm (though cold ones are perfectly fine), reheat it using the sous vide machine set to 150°F or by using a small pot with hot water for a few minutes. Next, break the egg into a bowl or small dish to allow any excess water or egg white to be removed before presenting your beautifully poached egg.

Notes

  • Use fresh eggs for optimal poaching results, as older ones may lose their shape.
  • Ensure the water temperature is precisely set to 153°F for perfectly cooked eggs.
  • Gently lower the eggs into the water to prevent cracking and ensure a smooth poaching process.
