- 1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Preheat your sous vide water bath to 135°F (57°C).
- Place the shrimp in a large resealable plastic bag.
- Add olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the bag.
- Seal the bag using the water displacement method to remove air.
- Submerge the sealed bag in the preheated water bath.
- Cook the shrimp sous vide for 30 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the bag from the water bath.
- Carefully open the bag and drain any excess liquid.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet for 1-2 minutes to sear lightly.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and transfer to a serving dish.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately while warm.

- For a more intense garlic flavor, increase the amount of minced garlic in the marinade.
