A tender and juicy chicken dish infused with sweet and savory teriyaki flavors, perfect for busy home cooks.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Shred chicken in the sauce before serving.
  6. Serve over rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a few hours or overnight. Consider adding vegetables during the last hour of cooking for a complete meal.
