A rich, creamy soup that embodies the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger while adhering to the carnivore diet.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 68 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh parsley (minced)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and minced garlic to the pot, breaking the meat apart while cooking until browned.
  3. Once cooked, carefully drain excess grease from the pot.
  4. Pour in beef broth and add parsley, dill, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low and add grated cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and heavy cream.
  7. Whisk continuously until all cheese has melted, and soup has thickened to the desired consistency.
  8. Ladle into bowls and top with crumbled bacon before serving.
