1 New York Strip

1 Clean Dishwasher

1 tbsp Olive Oil

1 tbsp Butter

1 Cast Iron Pan

Ma Deuce Steak Seasoning (or your favorite)

Instructions

1. Let the New York Strip cool down to room temperature and season generously with Ma Deuce Steak Seasoning.

2. Place the seasoned steak into a BPA-free vacuum seal bag and seal tightly.

3. Position the bag in the center of the top rack of a clean, empty dishwasher.

4. Run a full normal cycle without detergent (approx. 1–1.5 hours).

5. Remove the steak from the bag and pat dry thoroughly.

6. Heat cast iron pan on high until it begins to smoke slightly.

7. Add olive oil to the pan and place the steak inside.

8. Add butter and sear for 1–2 minutes on each side, basting with butter.

9. Remove and let the steak rest on a rack or cutting board for 10 minutes.

10. Slice and serve with your favorite sides or beverage.

Notes

Always use a vacuum bag rated BPA-free and heat-safe.

Ensure the dishwasher is free from soap or residue.
