Crockpot Angel Chicken features tender chicken breasts bathed in a rich, creamy sauce that’s easy to prepare in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) of condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 pound of angel hair pasta

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the Italian dressing mix, golden mushroom soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese to the melted butter.
  4. Stir the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  7. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  8. Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked angel hair pasta.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider browning the chicken beforehand. You can also substitute chicken thighs for a richer taste.
