A comforting slow-cooked chicken dish with a creamy sauce served over angel hair pasta.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 block (8 oz) of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 8 oz of angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the mixture and stir to coat.
  3. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Once the chicken is done, shred it in the slow cooker and mix everything together.
  6. Serve the creamy chicken mixture over a bed of cooked angel hair pasta.
  7. Garnish with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken in the Italian dressing mix a few hours before cooking. Consider adding vegetables like peas or spinach for a nutritious twist.
