Delightful crispy pan-fried chicken with a sweet and sticky honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated, then cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Coat the marinated chicken pieces in cornstarch, allowing any excess to fall away.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Add the chicken to the pan in a single layer, cooking until crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the chicken from the heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh ginger to the marinade and adjust the honey for sweetness preference.
