Ingredients

  • Fresh, boneless chicken breasts
  • All-purpose flour
  • Eggs (for binding)
  • Panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)
  • Hot honey sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional seasoning (paprika or garlic powder)
  • Hamburger buns
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomato, or any preferred toppings)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for consistent cooking.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour in one, beaten egg in the second, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with optional seasonings in the third.
  3. Dip each chicken breast first in flour, shake off excess, then coat in egg, letting any excess drip off. Finally, dredge in the panko mixture, pressing gently for an even coat.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each chicken breast for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
