Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F or the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until they are covered.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix all the spices and sprinkle over the wings, mixing until well-coated.
  4. For oven preparation, arrange the wings on a prepared baking tray in a single layer, skin side up, and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through. For air fryer, cook in batches for about 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
  5. Once they are golden and crispy, remove them from heat and enjoy hot.

Notes

Let the coated wings sit for 15-30 minutes before cooking for better flavor adhesion. For extra crunch, use a wire rack over the baking sheet.
