Indulge in tender chicken thighs bathed in a rich, creamy sauce of garlic and Parmesan, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Sear in the skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes each side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until it thickens slightly.
  6. Return chicken thighs to the skillet, coating them with the sauce.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F / 74°C).
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken and adjust seasoning as desired.
