Transform simple chicken breasts and pasta into a creamy garlic delight with this comforting and satisfying dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Trim and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
  3. Boil the rotini pasta according to package directions. Once al dente, drain and toss with a little butter to prevent sticking.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is melted and smooth.
  6. Slice the seared chicken into strips. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy sauce until fully coated.
  7. Plate the pasta, top it with the sliced chicken, drizzle with extra sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Optionally, add red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
