This creamy garlic Parmesan chicken breast transforms simple ingredients into a restaurant-quality dish, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet. Lower the heat, add butter and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir to deglaze, scraping up any flavorful bits sticking to the bottom of the skillet. Add Parmesan cheese and simmer until thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through and coat with the sauce.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for best flavor. Adjust cream thickness to preference and consider adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach for variations.
