Juicy crack burgers made with ground chuck, sour cream, and ranch dressing mix, topped with bacon and cheese, perfect for summer cookouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lb ground chuck
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • â…“ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Hamburger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Mustard
  • Mayo

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep burgers tender.
  2. Divide the mixture into 6 equal patties. Press a small dimple into the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking. Wet hands with cold water if the mixture sticks.
  3. Preheat your grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium heat. Grill patties to desired doneness: Medium-rare: 130-135°F, Medium: 140-145°F, Well-done: 160°F.
  4. Place burgers on toasted buns and top with lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, or your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Create a dimple in the middle of the patty to prevent it from puffing while cooking. Allow cooked burgers to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
