A delicious sandwich layered with perfectly cooked chicken, crispy bacon, fresh veggies, and creamy ranch dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs
  • 4–6 slices bacon
  • â…“ to ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 4 slices sturdy bread or 2 rolls
  • Romaine lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Thin slices of red onion (optional)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Olive oil or butter for toasting

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crisp, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease from the bacon and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Use the same pan to cook the seasoned chicken, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F. This will take about 5–6 minutes per side.
  4. Let the chicken rest before chopping it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. If you like, toast or butter the bread lightly for added flavor and texture.
  6. Spread ranch dressing on both sides of the bread or rolls.
  7. Layer chopped chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and red onion, along with any other desired extras.
  8. Close the sandwich, cut it in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

For added crunch, consider adding toasted sunflower seeds or crispy fried onions. Fresh ingredients elevate the eating experience.
